ABOUT US

Mount Zion College of Engineering & Technology has constituted a Students' Grievance Redressal Cell, headed by the Principal as Chairman and senior department heads as members. The committee meets regularly to resolve complaints registered by students. Its functions include addressing grievances and judging their merit. The Cell is also empowered to look into harassment issues. Students may approach the members in person, or submit grievances in writing if preferred.

OBJECTIVES

• Uphold college dignity by ensuring a peaceful environment through positive student and teacher relationships.
• Encourage students to freely and frankly express grievances without fear of retaliation.

The grievances may broadly include:

• Academic and Non-Academic complaints
• Grievances related to Assessment, Victimization, Attendance, and Fee Charges
• Complaints about Examination Conduct and Harassment by peers or teachers

GRIEVANCES NOT ADDRESSED

• Executive Council, Academic Council, Board of Studies, and other committee decisions
• Scholarship awards, fee concessions, medals, etc.
• University decisions on disciplinary matters and admissions
• Assessment and examination results by competent authorities

MECHANISM FOR REDRESSAL OF GRIEVANCES OF STUDENTS

Students are encouraged to submit their grievances through structured channels. Complaints can be submitted via:

• Suggestion box on campus
• Online registration at: Complaint Registration
• Email to: grievancecell@mountzion.ac.in

The committee will review and address cases forwarded with the necessary documentation.
