General Instructions to the Candidates
- Admission to the Examination is provisional.
- The Hall Ticket is issued subject to the candidate satisfying the Attendance and other requirements as per Rules, Regulations and Instructions issued by the University from time to time.
- A seat marked with Register Number will be provided to each Candidate.
- Normally Candidate will not be permitted to enter the Hall after the commencement of the Examination.
- Candidate shall not be allowed to leave the Examination Hall before the expiry of 45 minutes from the commencement of Examination.
- Candidates who are suffering from Infectious diseases of any kind shall not be admitted to the Examination Hall.
- Strict Silence should be maintained in Examination Hall.
- Candidates are required to bring their own Pens, Pencils and Erasers.
- Before proceeding to answer the paper, the Candidate should write His / Her Register Number, Semester, Course and Date of the Examination.
- Writing of Wrong Register Number in the Answer book will entail rejection of the Answer book.
- Candidates are not allowed to exceed the prescribed Time Assigned to each paper.
- Candidates shall not talk to / ask the other Candidates questions of any kind during the Examination.
- Candidates shall not carry any Written / Printed matter, Cell phone, or any unauthorized Data into the Examination Hall.
- No Candidate shall pass any part or whole of Answer papers or Question papers to any other Candidates.
- Candidates found Guilty of using unfair means of any nature shall be liable for Disciplinary action.
- Candidates will have to hand over the Answer books to the Invigilator before leaving the Examination Hall.
- Candidates should produce the Hall Ticket and ID card on demand.
- Candidates shall not write anything in the Hall Ticket.
- Candidates shall write only the Register Number in the space provided in the Question paper.
The Controller of Examinations office is an important part of the autonomy. The COE Office is responsible for the announcement of examination time table, preparation of question papers, conduct of examinations, evaluation of answer scripts, declaration of results and issuing of grade sheets. Every academic year, students take up end semester examinations twice during November and May.
The current rules of the examinations are given below:
- A candidate is permitted to use geometric tools, non-programmable calculators and approved tables and data books only during the theory and the practical examinations.
- A candidate should neither possess / refer to any forbidden material in any form nor should seek/obtain assistance in any form from any person.
