The AICTE–IDEA (Idea Development, Evaluation & Application) Lab at Mount Zion College of Engineering and Technology (MZCET), Pudukkottai, is a flagship innovation facility established under the AICTE–IDEA Lab Scheme of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The lab provides a common interdisciplinary workspace equipped with advanced tools and infrastructure to transform ideas into working prototypes.
It promotes learning by doing, design thinking, problem-solving, multidisciplinary collaboration, and entrepreneurship, while supporting academic projects, research, start-ups, and industry-oriented activities, thereby fostering a strong culture of innovation and practical learning within the institution.
