ABOUT US
Rotaract clubs are part of a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world. We are a non-religious, non-political, and non-profit organization that is involved in community and international service. They are open to people between the ages of 18 and 30 years old. Rotaract stands for "Rotary in Action" and is supported by Rotary International. Rotaract initially began as a Rotary youth programme in 1968 but has now become an independent group. Rotaract is an international organization with over 7,000 clubs worldwide and over 173,000 members. Clubs plan and implement a variety of humanitarian and environmental projects locally or internationally based on the interests of members. Rotaract also aims to assist its members with networking, business, and leadership to form well-rounded individuals for the working world. Vision
The Rotaract Club of Mount Zion is composed of individuals passionately serving and making a difference in the community. Our vision is to be the premier Rotaract Club in the world, as recognized by Rotary International, citizens, and Rotaractors, and to achieve a formidable position so as to enable us to provide more service to humanity.
Mission
Rotaract provides an opportunity for Mount Zion young professional leaders to promote responsible citizenship, develop professional skills, and employ effective leadership by offering venues to learn from proven leaders and network with committed young professionals to serve the needs of the community.
